VICENTE FOX QUESADA<\/strong><\/h3>

\u00a0<\/p>

He was born at Rancho San Crist\u00f3bal, in Guanajuato, Mexico<\/strong>, on July 2, 1942.<\/strong> There he enjoyed his childhood and youth with neighbors from his community in which he recognizes that the only thing that made his life different from theirs, were the opportunities that he did have and that others were denied.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Something that marked his childhood was the realization that poverty<\/strong>, one of the evils that devastate the world, can be avoided<\/strong>.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

He studied Business Administration<\/strong> at the Universidad Iberoamericana<\/strong> and a Diploma in Senior Management<\/strong> taught by professors at the Harvard Business School.<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

He was Governor of the State of Guanajuato<\/strong> from 1994<\/strong> to 1999<\/strong> and President of Mexico from 2000-2006<\/strong>, being the first president of the Republic emanating from the opposition.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

He today directs the Centro Fox<\/strong>, an organization that promotes the development of leadership of children, youth and adults and whose programs are especially aimed at the most disadvantaged.<\/p>

MARTA SAHAG\u00daN FROM FOX<\/strong><\/h3>

After having served as first lady in the six-year<\/strong> term of her husband, Vicente Fox Quesada (2000-2006)<\/strong>, Mrs. Marta dedicated all of her efforts to her Vamos M\u00e9xico Foundation. <\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Since then, her work has been fruitful and prolific<\/strong>, becoming a great reference nationally and internationally.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Through this Foundation and its different associations and donors, the humanitarian work of its objectives has considerably transformed several low-income sectors in Guanajuato.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Fundaci\u00f3n Vamos M\u00e9xico<\/strong> is a non-profit social organization<\/strong> that began activities on September 24, 2001<\/strong>, with the spirit of promoting participation and social commitment.<\/p>
