The Age of Definitions is a program of analysis to adopt a new way of thinking, acting and organizing in this 21st century society.

In Vicente Fox Quesada’s long career, he has had countless encounters with world leaders, from high symbols of the struggle for human rights to great entrepreneurial figures contributing ideas to the world of business and global connection, from Nobel Peace Laureates to politicians of current and persistent influence in the world.

Daniel Radio

General Secretary of the National Drug Board of Uruguay

Dr. Daniel Radío Presta was appointed Secretary General of the National Drug Board, he is a medical doctor and has been linked to the issue of drugs for a long time, both from the exercise of his profession as a doctor, and from his experience as a legislator.

He was Deputy Director and Deputy Director at the Jardines del Hipodromo Health Center, a first-level care center located on the northeastern outskirts of Montevideo, where he worked particularly in relation to people with problematic drug use, and even participated in a device of treatment with therapeutic companions, which constituted an interesting experience that took place in the area.

Servando Cardona

National Director of TecSalud Clinical Research

Director of Clinical Research, TecSalud, Surgeon and Obstetrician graduated from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, specializing in Oncological Surgery from the Chirurgische Universitätsklinik Heidelberg, Germany in the area of oncology (German Center Cancer Research, DKFZ) CONACYT Scholarship. Later he did postdoctoral studies at the Melanoma Clinic, California Pacific Medical Center. In the clinical field, he completed his General Surgery residency at the Mexican Institute of Social Security, Specialty Hospital number 25 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Later he completed his training in Breast Surgery at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.

Later, he was repatriated by CONACYT to join for more than 10 years as Full Professor A, in the General Surgery Service of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. María Fernanda Arboleda

Doctor Expert in Medical Cannabis

Physician and surgeon, from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá; anesthesiologist and specialist in pain medicine and palliative care, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM, and the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition, Mexico City; Clinical Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia, Anesthesia for Spine Surgery, and Interventional Pain Management, McGill University, Montreal, Canada; postdoctoral studies in research in Cancer Support Care and Medical Cannabis, at McGilly Santé Cannabis University, a leading clinic specializing in the prescription of medical cannabis in the province of Quebec, Canada.

Currently, Dr. Arboleda is the Associate Director of Research at Santé Cannabis, and she has extensive experience in the responsible and safe prescription of medicinal cannabis in different clinical contexts.

Julio Sánchez

In March 2011 he joined the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) as Coordinator of Advisors to the Federal Commissioner, a position he held until July 2012 when he was elected Commissioner of Sanitary Development and in March 2016 he was appointed Federal Commissioner COFEPRIS, a position he held until November 2018.
Currently, he is the founding president of the Latin American Association of Regulatory Affairs Professionals, “ALó ProCiencias”, an international non-profit academic organization focused on the promotion of Good Regulatory Practices and Regulatory Convergence in Latin America. He is the co-founder and current chair of the board of directors for the non-profit, Last Prisoner Project. And he is the co-founder of the California Cannabis Industry Association trade organization. In addition, Andrew is one of the few people to have owned and operated cannabis companies in the legacy, medical, and adult-use markets on both coasts of the United States. As an activist for the last 35 years, Andrew helped legalize medical and adult-use cannabis in California and Washington, D.C. He is the very definition of a trailblazer and someone known as a pioneer in the industry.

Israel Madrid

Director of the Mexican Council of Cannabis and Hemp

Entrepreneur and professional in the financial sector, in 2020 he founded, with 11 other members, the Mexican Council of Cannabis and Hemp, a Civil Association with the mission of collaborating in the construction and consolidation of a competitive and well-founded Mexican cannabis industry, based on a new business culture of fair trade and good practices, leading the world market by repositioning Mexico on the international plane. In 2021 he assumes the General Directorate of the Mexican Council of Cannabis and Hemp, the same year in which he begins to participate as a partner and member of the board of directors of Herbomed, Green Door Consulting and Centro Cultural Studio Berlin.

Vicente Fox

President of Mexico (2000 – 2006) Cannabis Activist

President of Mexico from 2000 to 2006, the first opposition member to hold office in 70 years. He was governor of his home state of Guanajuato, he is also a farmer and worked at Coca Cola for 14 years, where he came to hold the position of regional president of Latin America, he is currently a businessman and philanthropist who continues to fight for Mexico through his Central foundations. Fox and Let’s Go Mexico Foundation.

An ardent cannabis activist, he is also the founder of the CannaMéxico forum, which, since its first edition in 2018, promotes cannabis legislation in Mexico and throughout Latin America. In addition, he is one of the most important business partners of the CBD and hemp products store, Paradise.
