“Centro Fox Community Orchestra, Choirs and Ensembles” is a project that originated from the need to respond to the demand to create spaces for musical learning, through a process that could contribute to the comprehensive and permanent development of children and young people, creating not only musical groups, but generating an important symphony orchestra in the State of Guanajuato.
This project is part of the Bajío System of Community Musical Groups*
The purpose of our music school is to have a cultural activity in which the members of the various communities can find in musical expression a way to use their free time for the common good. In the population we are focusing on, there is a great disposition and talent to be able to develop artistic activities, since they have great learning potential.

Success stories
The Bajío System of Community Musical Groups is a group of Community Orchestras and Choirs located in vulnerable communities in the State of Guanajuato, coordinated by the National System for Musical Development (SNFM) of the Ministry of Culture and supported by Civil Associations (Centro Fox, Imagina, Celaya Conservatory). We currently have 4 orchestras and 4 Community choirs serving 500 children and youth between the ages of 7 and 17.
Over time, since 2016, thanks to our community academic programs, we have detected talents in students, due to their commitment, musical discipline, family support, adding certain musical facilities and possibilities to dedicate themselves professionally to music.
With the students detected as possible talents, the SNFM “Detection and Attention to Talents” Program is worked on, which at Bajío level we renamed “Young Leaders Orchestra of the Bajío System”
It is an orchestra of the most skilled and humanly committed young musicians from our Community Orchestras, Imagina, Centro Fox and Celaya that make up the Bajío Community System. We will begin the construction of an orchestra with high musical-human potential, while becoming future leaders that will inspire others to hope, undertake, strive, and fight for more, a fundamental part of success is the inclusion of family dynamics, support, motivation, supporting the stimulation of young people to improve their human-musical development.
